El Dorado County Real EstateEl Dorado County real estate appreciates in value so much, perhaps because El Dorado County is a great place to live. Though real estate the western edge of El Dorado County is somewhat pricier than Sacramento County, most of the county is still very affordable compared to much of California. Moreover the region sports a great variety of recreational activities. On our Western border lies the Folsom Lake Recreation Area, and the Auburn State Recreation Area in the northwest. These areas and other local parks offer outstanding facilities for hiking, camping, horseback riding, boating, fishing, mountain biking, and a host of other activities. (Personally, I love the hiking at Folsom, and the recent reduction in fees for a year round pass have made it much more affordable). Nevada and the great skiing of Lake Tahoe with it's fabulous skiing make up our border to the east.Beyond Lake Folsom to the west lies Sacramento County and the City of Sacramento. Of course, you may want to talk to teachers and parents, but statistics sometimes offer a rough guide. With this in mind, here is a recent ranking of El Dorado schools. |
