For those who prefer to spend their weekends outdoors, Folsom offers the magnificent Folsom State Recreation Area. Its 1800+ acres are enjoyed by boaters, hikers, and equestrians alike. Bicyclists particularly enjoy the 32 miles of bicycle trails.

Real Estate in Folsom includes a wide variety of homes from master planned communities to older colonials. Folsom real estate values have experienced strong appreciation in recent months, with single family home prices starting in the mid $200,000 range in 2002, but topping $300,000 by early 2004.
